Where in the world is it expensive, and where is it cheap?

The overall price level of goods and services bought by households compared with the United States (USA = 100). It is the ratio of purchasing power parity to the market exchange rate: 50 means that shopping which costs 100 dollars in the US costs the equivalent of 50 dollars there at the market exchange rate. It is not the price of a specific product, so it is not converted into currencies.
